Background

During my internship at From Poland with Dev I was given the opportunity to work alongside a senior UX designer to design a landing page for a well-known American cowboy boot brand that we referred to as "Bianchi" due to confidentiality agreements. The landing page was for Bianchi's upcoming collaboration with Grammy-winning country artist, Chris Stapleton, and the special collection of boots was set to be launched in May 2023.

Objective

Our objective was to create a landing page that showcased the unique features of the Bianchi-Chris Stapleton collection while providing easy navigation to the product pages. Additionally, the page needed to be optimised for mobile users and built on Shopify, Bianchi's chosen e-commerce platform.

One of the bespoke ideas requested by the client was to include a hero section slider with animated buttons.

Ideation

To begin the project, I collaborated with the senior UX designer to conduct research on Chris Stapleton and country music, and analysed other e-commerce landing pages.

Wireframes

We then worked together to sketch out various design concepts and refined them through several rounds of revisions and feedback from the Bianchi team.

Design

One of the main design features of the landing page was the hero section slider with animated buttons. This was a bespoke idea requested by the client, and we knew we had to execute it flawlessly. The hero section slider showcased images of the Chris Stapleton collection, while the animated buttons would take users to specific parts of the page below the hero section.

Prototypes

Using Figma, I then created prototypes of the landing page that was optimised for mobile users. Together with the team, I presented the web and mobile prototypes to the client's team. My ideas and proposed solutions were influential and generated positive feedback from the client, shaping in significant ways the development of the final product.
